National Handwriting Day: A Thank You for Celebrating Handwriting and Kindness with Us!

Our National Handwriting Day celebration has come to an end and we had a wonderful time celebrating with everyone. Starting on National Handwriting Day and extending until National Random Acts of Kindness Day, we asked teachers, students, and parents to write handwritten notes of kindness to practice handwriting, share kindness with others, and to celebrate with us all month long!

Makerspaces in the Tech Classroom

FETC wrapped up on January 26, and we learned all about how to create a makerspace to enhance digital learning in the classroom. Long before tech learners graduate and head to the incubators of Silicon Valley, they learn to build vital technology and communication skills in the elementary school classroom. To be successful digital communicators, children first need to build foundation skills like social-emotional acuity and critical thinking.
