It is the mission of Learning Without Tears to value, respect, and embrace the diversity of our organization. Keeping our employees, customers, partners, vendors, and especially children at the forefront of everything we do, we view individual differences as assets that promote the healthy growth and success of our collective goals. Our commitment to diversity goes above and beyond by being deliberate and intentional in supporting and recognizing diverse points of view, promoting all the different aspects of diversity that make each of the individuals we interact with on a regular basis unique and valuable. Our collective intention is to create a culture of belonging for everyone.

At Learning Without Tears, we believe that a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization is critical to our mission of providing the highest in class educational tools for all children. We strongly believe diversity is multi-dimensional, encompassing not just race and ethnicity, but gender, sexual orientation, religion, experience, age, ability, class, education levels, and more. We believe in embracing individual differences and fostering equity by eliminating barriers that prevent the full participation of everyone we support.

We are committed to creating an inclusive culture, where all members feel that they belong and see themselves as positive change agents for the future of our organization. This commitment includes, but is not limited to, professionals of diverse backgrounds, experiences, talents, and perspectives.

As part of our intentional mission in Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity, and Belonging (DEIB), we have created a committee that is dedicated to ensuring not only that we recruit and retain a diverse workforce, but also that our employees, customers, and all other partners have the opportunity to engage and benefit from our offerings and DEIB initiatives.

Our official purpose is:

"To serve as change agents; promoting, embracing, and celebrating the diversity of our colleagues, customers, and the students that we serve. Recognizing the rights of all individuals to fair and equal treatment, we strive to create and maintain an organization dedicated to inclusion. We provide opportunities for all employees to learn and expand their knowledge of equity-based issues. To reflect, within Learning Without Tears, the change we hope to see in the world."
