You’ve been selected to participate in an exclusive preview of Building Writers: Cornerstones, a new K–3 writing instruction resource from Learning Without Tears.
Early Access begins in late January, and we’re excited for select Grade 1 teachers at each site to explore, teach, and share implementation feedback.
Step 1:
Attend your pre-Winter Break orientation
Before Early Access begins, please join us for a quick, 30-minute Zoom orientation session. We’ll walk through the goals, structure, and expectations for your Early Access Experience.
Choose the date that works best for you.
Tuesday, December 9, 2025 — 12 pm ET/9 am PT
Thursday, December 18, 2025 — 3 pm ET/12 pm PT
After registering for your session, you’ll automatically receive an email with your Zoom link and calendar invite.
Step 2:
Register for your Early Access Quick Start session
The Early Access Quick Start is a 45-minute Zoom session designed to prepare you for teaching once your materials arrive in late January.
Please select one of the following dates:
Wednesday, January 21, 2026 — 12 pm ET/9 am
Friday, January 23, 2026 — 11 am ET/8 am
Tuesday, January 27, 2026 — 3 pm ET/12 pm PT
Thursday, January 29, 2026 — 12 pm ET/9 am PT
After registering for your session, you’ll automatically receive an email with your Zoom link and calendar invite.
In late January, each teacher will receive materials to teach two units from Cornerstones, Grade 1:
- One Teacher Guide booklet
- Set of Student Edition booklets
- Individual access information for the Interactive Digital Teaching Tool
