It’s easy! Choose a grade that matches your students’ current grade level. Each grade-level program includes lessons that begin with foundation skills as well as the Skip Jump Into Keyboarding feature for more advanced students who are ready to progress to more challenging practice.
Jump into Keyboarding! comprises the foundation skills for each grade of the curriculum. Some or all of your students may have already mastered the foundation skills. Students in Grades 3–5 will default to skipping the first six weeks of foundation skills and begin in week 7. As the educator, you can enable or disable Skip Jump into Keyboarding at the student or class level.
In Spot Check: Letters, individual letter fluency is evaluated by having students hold down a target key with one hand while typing with the other hand. Student speed is measured in Keys Per Minute (KPM) and accuracy is measured by the percentage of correct keys hit.
