How does Clever integration work?

Clever connects your district’s Student Information System (SIS) to Learning Without Tears to sync users, classes, and enrollments.

Before getting started: Review the Learning Without Tears Sharing Guide for Clever 

1. Send a connection request in Clever for the specified Learning Without Tears digital product(s) listed on your Purchase Order (PO).
2. This step is required before setup can proceed.
3. Configure sharing rules based on your Purchase Order (PO) and which users need access.
4. Begin sharing your data with Learning Without Tears.
5. After completing setup, contact implementation@lwtears.com to initiate the initial sync.
6. Learning Without Tears reviews and accepts the connection, then syncs your data into +Live Insights® .

• After the initial setup, updates sync nightly.
• After the initial sync, you can request a manual sync by contacting implementation@lwtears.com if changes are not reflected after a nightly sync.

Important:

• Removing users in Clever removes their access and licenses in +Live Insights®.
• Rostering is based on data from your SIS. Any changes must be made by your District Administrator in Clever before they will appear in +Live Insights®.
• Ensure the email address used for setup matches the one listed on your Purchase Order (PO).
• District Administrators can impersonate users within Clever to confirm access.
