After purchasing Learning Without Tears digital products, complete a few setup steps before teachers and students can begin using them. The exact steps depend on how your school or district accesses digital products.
Step 1: Create or confirm your +Live Insights® account
+Live Insights® is where digital licenses are activated and managed.
- If you received an activation email, use the “Activate Digital Products” link to log in or create your account.
- If you did not receive or cannot find your activation email, go directly to +Live Insights® and log in using the email address associated with the purchase.
Activation unlocks your licenses, but license assignment is required before content appears.
Step 2: Identify how your organization logs in
Before moving forward, confirm how users will access digital products, as this impacts setup.
If your school or district uses Clever or ClassLink:
- Coordinate with your district or school administrator to:
- Confirm Clever or ClassLink is the intended login method
- Set up or verify sharing rules so Learning Without Tears products are available to the correct users
For all other schools & districts or if you are a family purchasing digital licenses:
- Accounts will be created and managed directly in +Live Insights®
- Teachers and students need to be added manually or via a bulk upload, depending on your setup
Step 3: Plan for license assignment
After licenses are activated:
- Licenses need to be assigned to users
- Users will not see content until licenses are assigned.
