How does Bulk Import work?
Bulk Import is a one-time setup process where your organization submits a spreadsheet to set up users and classes.
Bulk Import is a one-time setup process where your organization submits a spreadsheet to set up users and classes. Note: if using Google SSO, the bulk import spreadsheet must be completed.
After setup is complete, roster management becomes self-service and is handled directly in +Live Insights®.
Before getting started:
Review the Bulk Import Instructions
Download and complete our Bulk Import Template with your organization, users, and class data
Securely upload the file to Learning Without Tears (do not email files)
Learning Without Tears reviews and completes your initial setup
After setup is complete, additional changes can be made manually via +Live Insights®

Organizations not using Clever or ClassLink
Google SSO users
Larger groups (100+ users)
How does Manual Setup work?
Manual setup is a self-service method that allows administrators to create users, classes, and assign licenses directly in +Live Insights®.
Manual Setup in +Live Insights® (Self-Service)
Log in to +Live Insights®, the administrative dashboard
Activate your licenses from the dashboard
Go to Admin Console → User Management to invite or edit administrators and teachers
Assign licenses to teachers if applicable
Create and manage users, classes, and licenses directly in +Live Insights®
Teachers can create their classes and assign licenses to students (if student licenses and class setup are applicable)
Important:
Manual setup is intended for:
Organizations with fewer than 100 users
Schools not using Clever, ClassLink, or Bulk Import
Parents or individual users
