How do I activate my digital licenses and set up my account?

License Activation

Activate via email or +Live Insights®. Activation is required for access, doesn’t assign licenses, and product license types may vary.

You can activate your digital licenses either through the activation email or by logging into +Live Insights® directly. Licenses must be activated before they can be assigned or accessed. Activation makes licenses available to your organization—it does not automatically assign licenses to users. Not all products include both teacher and student licenses.

Once you have activated your licenses, the process of assigning them will vary based on your setup method.

If you use Clever or ClassLink

  1. Activate your licenses.
  2. Contact your SSO Administrator to set up sharing rules.
  3. Follow the steps in the Learning Without Tears Sharing Guide for Clever or ClassLink .
  4. After completing the steps in the Sharing Guide, contact implementation@lwtears.com.

Manual Setup in +Live Insights® 

  1. Log in to +Live Insights®.
  2. Activate your licenses.
  3. Go to Admin Console → User Management.
  4. Invite or manage users.
  5. Teachers will receive an invitation email.

Important:

  • Users must create an account to access their licenses.
  • After activation, assign licenses to users as needed.
  • If another teacher will be using the license or a teacher license was purchased, make updates in User Management before assigning licenses.

Bulk Import or Google SSO

  1. Download and review setup instructions and templates.
  2. Complete the spreadsheet.
  3. Upload the file.
  4. After uploading, contact implementation@lwtears.com.
