How do I transfer students or educators?

The steps for transferring students and educators depend on how your account is rostered.

The steps for transferring students and educators depend on how your account is rostered.

  • Manual or Bulk Upload accounts: Transfers can be completed directly in +Live Insights®

  • Clever or ClassLink accounts: Transfers must be made in Clever or ClassLink via your SIS. Please contact your Clever or ClassLink Administrator.

 

Transferring Students (Manual or Bulk Upload)

Students are transferred individually from their student record.

  1. Go to My Classes & Students.

  2. Click on your Class.

  3. Select the three dots next to the student’s name.

  4. Choose Transfer Student.

  5. Select the new class and confirm the transfer. The student will move to the new class while keeping their account information.

 

Updating Educators (Manual or Bulk Upload)

Educators are managed at the class level rather than the individual student level.

To add, remove, or change educators in a class:

  1. Go to My Classes & Students.

  2. Locate the class you want to update.

  3. Select the three dots for that class.

  4. Choose Edit Class Details.

  5. From here you can:

    • Add an educator as a Co‑Educator

    • Remove a co‑educator

    • Update the Primary Educator if needed

  6. Save your changes.
