How do I create classes and/or assign classes to educators?
You can create classes and assign educators in +Live Insights® using either manual setup or bulk upload, depending on how your account is rostered.
You can create classes and assign educators in +Live Insights® using either manual setup or bulk upload, depending on how your account is rostered. The steps below apply to manual and bulk customers.
Note: If you use Clever or ClassLink, classes and licensing are managed through those platforms and will sync automatically to +Live Insights® once the original sync has taken place.
Creating a Class Manually
Log in to +Live Insights®. If you are the educator for this class, go to My Classes & Students. If you are setting the class up for one of your educators, go to Admin Console and select Classes & Students.
Select the “+ Create Class” button in the top‑right corner.
In the Create Class window complete the required steps.
Assigning Educator Licenses
Licenses for Educators are managed in the Admin Console, not within the class itself.
Licensing is not available for Clever or ClassLink users, since licensing is controlled through those platforms.
To assign or edit an educator license:
Go to the Admin Console.
Select User Management.
Find the educator and select the three dots on their user tile.
Choose Manage User Products.
Assign or update products as needed.
Important: Please be aware that some products (such as Keyboarding Without Tears) do not have Educator licenses.
