How long are digital licenses valid and what are the terms and conditions?

Digital license length and terms depend on the type of license and when it is activated.

Standard (Full) Digital Licenses

Licenses purchased through the Learning Without Tears webstore or through a school or district are full licenses.

• License length: Valid for 365 days (12 months) from the date of activation.
• Activation grace period: You have up to a 3-month grace period from the date your order is processed to activate your licenses.
  • If you activate during this grace period, your 12-month term begins on the activation date.
  • If you do not activate within 3 months, the 12-month term will automatically begin at the end of the grace period.
• Important: Activation starts the license term. We recommend waiting to activate until you are ready to complete setup and begin using the products with students.

Workshop Licenses

Workshop licenses are only available to educators attending a Learning Without Tears workshop and are different from full licenses.

• License length: Valid for 180 days (6 months) from the date of activation.
• Activation grace period: Includes the same 3-month grace period as full licenses to activate.
  • If you do not activate within 3 months, the 6-month term will automatically begin at the end of the grace period.
