    Title I, Part A

    Title I, Part A helps close learning gaps to help students meet academic standards by funding supplemental programs, instructional resources, interventions, technology, and professional learning that support student achievement and academic growth.

    Our Eligible Programs

    Handwriting Without Tears ® (TK–6)

    Supplemental handwriting program with explicit, systematic instruction for developing print and cursive handwriting skills through multisensory, fine-motor lessons and activities.

    Use Title I funds to support targeted intervention that strengthens handwriting and written communication skills, helping address learning gaps and improve academic outcomes.

    Building Writers: Cornerstones™ (K–3)

    Closes a critical gap in students' writing skills by teaching sentence construction and grammar in context through explicit, concise lessons.

    Use Title I funds to support targeted writing intervention that addresses foundational skill gaps and helps improve literacy and academic outcomes.

    Get Set for School ® (Preschool, Pre-K, TK)

    Complete curriculum that prepares children for kindergarten through engaging, hands-on learning that builds foundational skills and literacy success. 

    Use Title I funds to support school readiness and early intervention efforts that help close achievement gaps before kindergarten.

    Letters & Literacy™ (Preschool, Pre-K, TK)

    Supplemental literacy program that prepares children for kindergarten by building phonological awareness, emergent writing, and fine motor skills together. 

    Use Title I funds to support targeted literacy instruction that strengthens foundational skills and helps close achievement gaps.

    Readiness & Writing (Preschool, Pre-K, TK)

    Supplemental program that builds emergent writing and fine motor skills to prepare students for kindergarten. 

    Use Title I funds to support  targeted instruction that strengthens foundational readiness and emergent writing skills.

    Phonics, Reading, and Me™ (K–3)

    Supplemental program that develops phonics and phonological awareness through guided reinforcement and scaffolded practice to build independent readers. 

    Use Title I funds to support targeted phonics instruction and intervention for students needing additional literacy support.

    Keyboarding Without Tears ® (K–5)

    Digital program that teaches typing, computer readiness, online test preparation, and digital citizenship skills. 

    Use Title I funds to support targeted intervention that builds essential technology skills, helping students improve academic performance and succeed in digital learning environments.

    Professional Learning (K–3)

    Professional learning opportunities motivate, educate, and support educators with best practices for implementing Learning Without Tears programs. 

    Use Title I funds to support evidence-based professional development that enhances teaching effectiveness and improves student achievement.

    Title II

    Title II supports effective instruction by investing in teacher quality and instructional leadership. These funds can support coaching, professional learning, and other evidence-based strategies that strengthen classroom instruction.

    IDEA provides funding to support specialized instruction and services for students with disabilities. Funds may be used for evidence-based programs, instructional resources, and supports that help students access the curriculum and achieve individualized learning goals.
