Nicole Iorio has applied her learnings as a classroom teacher, literacy program coordinator, and literacy tutor to design PK-12 curriculum for more than two decades. Coordinating with educators, researchers, and talented teams, she has developed joyful national programs with print and digital components for students and teachers. At Learning Without Tears, Nicole has led development of Building Writers: Cornerstones™, Phonics, Reading, and Me™, and updated editions of Handwriting Without Tears® and Get Set for School®.

Cheryl holds a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership, is a distinguished educational leader, and has been recognized with multiple awards for her achievements. She served as the lead curriculum developer for Learning Without Tears' Get Set for School Language and Literacy curriculum, which received an AEP Distinguished Achievement Award, and was awarded the Investors Bank Educator of the Year Award.
