Welcome to the Learning Without Tears webinar designed to provide educators the introductory information needed to implement the Get Set for School complete curriculum into the classroom. It is recommended that the PreK Interactive Teaching Tool (PreKITT) webinar is also viewed if your program is using the PreKITT application.

This Get Set for School Getting Started webinar (approx. 65 minutes) - will review the learning areas, your teaching resources, student editions, multisensory activities, and more.

Objectives:

• Identify why the Get Set for School curriculum is developmentally appropriate and effective for Pre-K students
• Discover how to access and use daily lesson plans that incorporate the learning areas of: Language & Literacy, Numbers & Math, Readiness & Writing, Oral Language, Science & Social Studies
• Review hands-on multisensory manipulatives used to teach writing readiness, number sense, literacy skills, vocabulary, and scientific thinking
