Kristin Hedges is a highly experienced pediatric occupational therapist with more than 20 years of service in school-based settings. Throughout her career, she has specialized in supporting children’s fine motor development, handwriting skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-regulation to help students succeed in both academic and daily life tasks.

In addition to her school-based work, Kristin is the founder and owner of “Write” Here on The Farm, a unique program designed to provide explicit, multi-sensory handwriting instruction in a nature-based environment. Located on her family’s 10-acre hobby farm, this innovative setting allows children to build foundational skills while engaging in play-based activities with chickens, ducks, mini horses, and goats. By combining evidence-based occupational therapy practices with the calming and motivating benefits of nature and animals, Kristin helps children develop confidence, independence, and joy in learning.

Kristin also extends her expertise beyond the farm through virtual handwriting tutoring, offering individualized support to children regardless of location. Her passion for empowering young learners through creative, engaging, and functional approaches continues to guide her work and inspire the families she serves.
